On Statistical and Ideal Convergence of Sequences of Bounded Linear Operators

Abstract

We introduce and study a new notion of ideal convergence of sequences of bounded linear operators in Banach spaces. Main results are applied for the characterization of some matrix maps and of weak ideal convergence in Banach spaces.
