In this paper, we will take a look at Salem elements dealing with formal power series on Fq, where Fq is a finite field . Our main result, presents a criteria for an element to be the smallest Salem element (SSE) via an order extending a given order in Fq. Moreover, we provide the CFE of the (SSE) for each n.
