Abstract

In this work, we examine the hyperstability of the  quintic functional equation
$\phi(u+3v)-5\phi(u+2v)-\phi(u-2v)+10\phi(u+v)+5\phi(u-v)-10\phi(u)-120\phi(v)=0$,
in Banach spaces by means of Brzd\c{e}k's fixed point theorem.
